WisperNotes is a progressive web application providing client-side voice recording, on-device Whisper speech-to-text transcription, local AI text formatting, and optional Google Drive backup synchronization.
You retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights over all audio, transcriptions, text, notes, and metadata you produce using WisperNotes. Because the software operates on your device without transmitting your notes to our servers, you are solely responsible for safeguarding and backing up your data.
You agree to use the audio recording and meeting capture features in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international recording laws and wiretapping regulations. In jurisdictions requiring two-party or all-party consent, you must inform and obtain consent from all participants before recording meetings or conversations.
If you connect Google Drive for data synchronization, your interaction is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. WisperNotes operates solely as a client interface interacting with the Google Drive API on your behalf.
WisperNotes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. On-device machine learning speech recognition and language models may produce imperfect or inaccurate transcriptions and summaries. You are advised to review AI-generated content before relying on it.
In no event shall the authors or copyright holders of WisperNotes be liable for any claim, damages, data loss, or other liability arising from your use of the application.
